Wesley Snipes: the Blade Will be on Bars

Wesley Snipes “hands up” at the federal correctional institution in Pennsylvania to serve his 36 month sentence for tax evasion case.

Snipes was already sentenced in 2008 in Florida court on three misdemeanor counts of willful failure to file income tax returns. After that, he appealed to the court several times, pleading his innocence and have requested for a new trial, unfortunately the court don’t favor his claim.

His “Blade” instinct doesn’t work well in real life, because he relies too much on the advice of tax professionals regarding his case. He admitted that it was his bad decision that got him into this problem.

That was a heart breaking day for the 48 year old action star, but his family promised to visit him in jail regularly.

When interviewed by Larry King, Snipe gave this statement. "I think any man would be nervous," "Given the length of time that they are suggesting that I be away from my family, away from my profession, away from my ability to provide for my family and for those who have depended upon me to contribute to society ... I think anyone would be nervous about that."

Blade has done numerous box office action-adventures, thrillers, and dramatic feature movies.  He became famous as Blade in the movie Blade trilogy wherein he played a vampire slayer role that is always in black leather long suit and black shades. He portrays the character of Blade well because of his serious personality and superb martial arts skill.

It would be a whole new world for him being in prison. It would be a long time to see Wesley dressed in Blade gear or in a classic suit, because he will be surely dressed in an orange color all over uniform.

Wesley’s estimated release date is on July 19, 2013.

  1. Wesley Snipes dresses good really. Love his suits. I find similar suits of his at discount suits for men and they're great.

The classic suit that was used by Wesley was really cool, it made him really formal though his role is different, mens suits are commonly used in movies like that and it really makes the characters look great.

I admire Wesley Snipes a lot. I want to become a designer of men's church suit, and I hope that dream comes true.
